PIDS – PH Government’s Socioeconomic Think Tank

In partnership with Lily Pad, Anido Creatives served as the lead designer and project manager for the full redesign and redevelopment of the Philippine Institute of Development Studies (PIDS) website. Our work focused on rebuilding the information architecture, creating a streamlined and modern UI/UX, and supporting frontend development to ensure a cohesive and intuitive user experience.

We began with a comprehensive audit of the legacy site, which revealed outdated navigation and a fragmented content system. From there, we restructured the information architecture to better organize PIDS’ extensive research, publications, and events, making the site more accessible for policymakers, researchers, and the general public.

On the design front, we developed a cleaner and more authoritative interface that emphasized readability, visual hierarchy, and mobile responsiveness. Working closely with the development team, we ensured that the final implementation aligned with the design system and intended user flows.

The revamp also included major technical enhancements such as data migration, system integration, a custom content management system for handling large volumes of research data, and a content crawler that automatically aggregates citation data from various public sources.

The result is a faster, more intuitive, and research-ready platform that strengthens PIDS’ mission of delivering accessible, evidence-based knowledge to its diverse audience.
